Twilight Cruise, Random Nights Out, Star Trek and a Hair Cut…
This weekend I went on an awesome twilight river cruise. It started off just as a normal boat ride around New York and back round again allowing plenty of chances to take pictures of New York, but this was boring in comparison to what would happen. The boat aligned itself with the Statue of Liberty just as the sun was setting. This allowed for some amazing pictures to be taken, most of which are on facebook if you have access to it. At the same time they started playing the music louder and it became a bit more of a party boat unlike the party plane of course! The only thing was that when the sun was going down everybody naturally went over to the one side of the boat where the sun was going down. The boat started listing pretty dangerously to the right (starboard I think!) and I was ready to run to the left side (port side if my earlier 50/50 choice of starboard was right) and jump onto the railings if the boat decided to go over. Luckily it didn’t and I didn’t get wet so I lived another day dry!
It was still an awesome night to come where I ended up in a limo taking me 10 blocks from a bar to a club called Taj down the road, getting into the club for free and meeting loads of people. I was pretty tired by the time I got to the club because it had been a long day but it was still an awesome night. I love these random nights they make things so interesting!
On Sunday I went to see the new Star Trek film and it’s blerdy brilliant. I have always been a fan of Star Trek but you’ve now got people who were never fans of it now loving it. If you haven’t gone and seen it yet then I implore you to go and see it now!
I have also got my first haircut. What more can I say. It cost me $19.99 which is really good and my hair is short again rather than the bush that it had become. Two months of growth is pretty bad for me. I don’t normally go a month without a haircut. So nobody needs to worry about my hair it’s fine now!
