Role Play, MOMA the CEO of JPMorgan Chase and a Certain Trip to Boston!

Okay so this weekend started off quite badly due to the fact I had to wake up at 730 on a Saturday morning to perform in a role play in front of my peers.  This is something that we have been working on for weeks.  I was in a group that was about Barack Obama’s first 100 days in power and we had to have a discussion on that topic.  I played Michael Steele the head of the Republican National Committee and I’d be arrogant to not so I was blerdy brilliant.  Look at the likeness between me and Steele below…

I worked hard at being Steele getting myself into character, trying to get people to join the Republican party with limited impact unfortunately.  I thought about putting on an American accent throughout my performance but I decided to keep it simple.  Maybe next time eh!  In the end it all went swimmingly and I had good fun and that was that.  Just annoyed at having to wake up at god forsaken hours on a Saturday but I will forget about that by next weekend as I am on my way to Boston on Friday and coming back on Monday, which is memorial day in the US.  My first bank holiday and I can’t wait!  About time too methinks.

On Sunday I went to MOMA (Museum of Modern Art!)  It actually wasn’t that bad but I’ve never felt so tired from waking up early the previous day.  Everytime I sat down I could fall asleep.  Anyway, the art, it was interesting, sometimes strange, but as usual I don’t get most of it.  Surely anybody can be an artist.  Maybe I should give it a try.  I did see some famous art as can be seen below…

On Tuesday the CEO of JPMorgan Chase (Jamie Dimon) came to our building for the annual shareholders meeting and I was lucky enough to be able to get in and see it.  Jamie Dimon is one of the top if not the top CEO’s at the moment because JPMorgan has performed better than almost all of it’s competitors.  It was amazing to see the man in action and makes you think that perhaps I could be there one day.  Oh well, I can dream one step at a time.  First an intern, then the world…!
