The Intrepid, Sex Museum, Cricket Against the Indians and the Hangover is a Blerdy Good Film!!!
Saturday was a horribly bad day for weather so I thought it would be a good idea to go to the Intrepid Museum. The Intrepid is an aircraft carrier that has been converted into a museum after it was decommissioned. The Intrepid Museum also includes a Concord, the USS Growler, an old submarine and many amazing aircraft that used to fly including the Blackbird which is still considered the fastest plane ever built. It’s quite an old plane, it broke the speed record in the 70’s. It’s quite an amazing plane. I gave it a knock to check it out and it seemed pretty flimsy to me, but apparently it is supposed to be like that. It isn’t until it gets hot and it expands that it becomes as hard as a bullet! Anyway, I had a great time even though it was pouring with rain. I got to go on an aircraft carrier, which I’ve never done before, I got to go on the Concorde, which I’ve never done before and I got to go into a submarine, which you guessed it, I’ve never been on before. Definitely give it a go if you’re interested in any of the above!
So the next thing I did on Saturday was to go to the Sex Museum. It’s an interesting museum. I think it pretty much covers everything to do with sex. There is a whole floor on animal sex. Saw plenty of amazing and weird things there including seeing Colin Farrell having sex in the celebrity sex scandal section! Unfortunately I had to pay to get into the Sex Museum. It seems that my JPMorgan Chase card doesn’t cover that museum so I was forced to pay. Oh well I’m not that tight!
Sunday we had decided that it was going to be a cricket match of people from the UK versus the Indians on our programme. Luckily the weather was pretty good and we managed to ge a match going on a baseball pitch near to where I live in Jersey City. It was quite a good experience if you like to get beaten badly. I didn’t do very well but then I haven’t played in years. We are planning another match of soccer (sorry I meant football) in a few weeks time. We are going to win trust me. I don’t want to lose so badly again!
In the evening time we went to the cinema to watch the Hangover. If you haven’t seen it yet then what are you waiting for. Go and see it now, right now because it is funny as hell!
